Meet the team
Keith Novembre
Founder
With 22 years in the U.S. Army and multiple years of combat deployments, Keith learned all too much about the “Invisible Wounds” that many suffer with. Diagnosed in 2016 with PTSD but realizing he has, without knowing, has lived with it since early 2001, Keith has become an advocate for those who are affected by it. As a Senior Leader in the Army and a Security Consultant, Keith has used his years of experience managing these individuals to learn about this illness not only to help himself but to help others.
Carrie Novembre
Vice President
As a spouse of a military member with PTSD, Carrie has become an expert on how to assist and cope with someone suffering with this illness. As a licensed nurse and military spouse for over 20 years, Carrie has learned the coping skills necessary to keep a healthy and strong relationship with loved ones. She uses these skills to teach others to do the same. Carrie believes that if she can do it, then others can, overall reduce the number of separations and suicides’ among those affected by PTSD and related challenges.
Terry Bowers
Director of Community Outreach
Terry is a survivor of childhood trauma and was a firefighter/EMT for over 30 years. After years of dealing with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideologies she was given a diagnosis of PTSD in 1998. She learned to live with this diagnosis but never shared it with anyone. Getting involved with Cars4Awareness she learned to use her experience to assist others in understanding and living with these mental challenges as a survivor with hope. Terry feels sharing her experiences is a way to bring awareness as well as continue to work on her own mental health.
